My sister has the captivate and she as of 8:00pm yesterday she can not recieve text. She can send just fine and make and recieve calls just not receive text. I've been an android user for a couple years and have not heard of this problem.
She took the phone to at&t and went through all the basic troubleshooting(restarting, pulling battery ect...) to no luck. They call tech support and thier response was they heard this issue and are trying to push a software update in the next couple days. They claimed that many people are experiencing this problem right now and hope to have a solution within 48 hours.
Since sounded really strange to me since I"m on all the phone forums all day and haven't heard of this problem. Is anyone else experiencing this or have in the past. I said she should go back tomorrow and try to exchance the phone.
