Anyone Know Why Wifi won't stay on

Just noticed it today. Wifi was off. I had turned it off the other day and just thought I forgot to turn it on. But when I turned on wifi, it asked for my password for my home network.

Make sure the app "smart wifi" is turned off. Its a miserable app.

It comes stock on the phone now. You sure you don't have it? You can't install it, only disable it.

Sorry, didn't figure out the smart wifi thing was in fact "At&t smart wifi"! I was thinking it was a downloadable app. Finally figured it out. I'm rooted so I deleted it. I've had wifi now for at least 5 minutes. Perhaps its fixed. Yay! Thanks

Yeah it seems to cause some problems for some.

My Nexus 10 with 4.4.2 turns WiFi off with screen Off. So I have to turn WiFi ON each time I turn screen ON . I do not have "Smart WiFi" App installed. I do have WiFi Analyzer App installed.

There is an option for Wi-Fi to not sleep. Under"Wi-Fi" then "advanced".
