Mobile Hotspot
Joshua O is correct. I have the same icon in my apps and beneath it's titled "Mobile Hotspot".

The icon you are showing me is in my app tray. Look at my attachment.. it has a round black dish...not the same. It does have a wifi symbol on the phone, but it sits on a black dish..could it be smart wifi?

The black "dish" indicates a folder... select that and it'll open a "box" showing the apps in said folder. In this case the app being Mobile Hotspot.
Replicated:

Okay your correct, what happens if you trash that icon and folder?? The person at the Att store said I didnt need it...so I whacked it.
Nothing its just a shortcut. Its still in your app drawer. If you want it back on the home screen find it in your app drawer long press it and place it on your home screen.

I did as you instructed however it only placed a shortcut.. not the one with the dish or folder
Thanks for this!its mobile Hotspot in a Folder.
if you hold down the home screen a menu will pop up, select folder, then name it whatever you want, then hold down an app on the homescreen and drag it into the folder, it will then float ontop of the disk
