i777. When I connect to pc with usb cable, Windows Vista tries to find a driver and is unsuccessful. I downloaded the driver for this from Samsung at recommendation of Smsng rep. I successfully installed it, but nothing happens when I connect w/usb cable but Windows trying to find a driver.
I then went into Wireless and network\USB utilities. "USB mass storage Tap the button below to copy files between the computer and SD card" When I click Connect storage to pc button, "Attention USB is connected. Remove the cable." This is bizarre.
I called Samsung and told this to a rep. He laughed and said, "Yeah, I know exactly what you mean." Then he was silent. I asked him if this is a bug, and he would not say anything. What's going on with this?
It does appear to work when I pull down the Notification bar and touch the USB connected icon there.
