Transferring app data

I just got my S III and was able to get all my apps no problem from my S II. But is there any way to get my app data without having to use root? If anyone can help it would be great. Thanks.

I think any way you would do it requires your phone to be rooted. You could manually copy the data folders for the apps, but you need to be rooted and have a file explorer (like root explorer) to get to them, or use a program that would back up that data then reapply it on your new device (like titanium backup), which also requires you to be rooted.
