Indefinitely if you do as listed above

i think you can ignore it and you wont get bugged regularly

Nope, you gotta pick an interval, the most of which is 8hrs. Or do as I listed above and never have to worry about it again!

I use ADW. What is the difference between gesture search and just search? Can you post a screeny of what "gesture search" is in ADW?

Regular search is, you hit the W key to bring up all your W contacts, music, etc..

Gesture Search is you use your finger to write out a W and it does the same thing.. different input methods, but GS is cooler.

You can postpone the update for 8 hours max. I postpone three times and afterwards it updated itself and restarted. I wish I would have rooted but was skittish on my new phone. :'(
