I just recently got an S3 and love it. But have a minor annoyance on the default Talk app for gChat.
When I have it set to notify me of a new message and a take the alert and open the new message. It then plays the alert noise for EVERY message I receive in the conversation despite having the application already open.
I just want it to alert me when Im out of the Talk app. But then stop alerting me when I open the app.
Right now I just have it set not to notify me at all, and Im using BeeJive Free. Id rather use the Talk app (video chats). Any ideas?
Also, despite all my contacts having pictures (either from Facebook sync or me assigning them), the Talk app still shows blank pictures for people. Even when I touch their name in Talk it brings up their contact card and tada there's a picture there but not in the app buddy list. Any ideas?
