Sure, it won't hurt anything. You can just pick the one you want to use whenever you hit the home button.

That's what I'm doing now. Didn't know if it would effect my battery much. I just get bored and like to change things up.

Yeah definitely! Use as many as u want... U can get app called "Home Switcher" which let's u switch to anyone of them whenever u want
