We got LTE a week ago or so and I just disabled it on my phone to see if it saves on battery life. I don't have a need for uber fast download speeds 5-6mb does perfect for me (surfing, streaming).

Dang! I wonder how far south they consider their towers to be part of the Denver network. I'm in Colorado Springs and it would be nice to hit a LTE signal now and again.

I think they arw just testing the equipment. Its not official yet .and I have not been able to connect outside of my home area.

I agree. It's spotty in aurora(all of aurora, I'm in SE part) and dtc. It's stable in my office for me and my coworker with a gs3 though, Parker/225.

Ever since I moved here in 2008, it always seemed like Verizon country here... so AT&T was always slow to update... first with just 3G, then HSPA+, and now LTE. But I am glad that they finally flipped the switch for LTE!

It's hard to want to switch to Wi-Fi when my phone is faster than my home network :D

Verizon LTE lit up here when the thunderbolt was first released. AT&T didn't even have an LTE phone yet so it didn't matter, hspa+ was on and good.

Honestly, for AT&T to have Denver lit up this late in the game is a joke. Birmingham, AL has LTE before Denver does. BIRMINGHAM!

Keep in mind that a lot of lighting up new cities had to withaccess agreements and access in general to the fiber.
Kansas city is getting Google fiber before los Angeles and new York. FRIGGIN KC!

Thread resurrection! Anybody else seeing LTE light up in Colorado Springs this morning? I AM! :) Looks like it's a little weak right now but if it's just lighting up it should be promising :)
