Saying a nickname or a full name just might be the answer to your issue.

Nickname maybe, full name no. The exact issue is with full names. I have a contact named Mike Jackson. If I hit the mic icon on the Google search bar and say "call mike jackson," it pulls up some electrician. I have to say "call from contacts mike jackson," though I'm sure there are other phrases which would suffice. This is a new, post 4.1 behavior. I guess Google took a break from bending over for the chi-coms to address this woeful oversight in revenue optimization.
