Need help; Folder went missing

Hey guys I need your help. So I wanted to hide a folder from showing up on my gallery and I read on a few forums if you just put a "." in front of the folder name it would remove it from the gallery. Well that worked but now the entire folder is gone. I'm not sure if it's hidden somewhere or my S3 just decided to delete it but I cannot find it anywhere now lol. Can someone help me out with this? Thanks!

Hidden is Hidden. The only way I know is to connect to your PC and make sure Windows Explorer is set to show Hidden files and remover the (.) from the Folder name. That said there are many apps at Google Play that will hide files and you use a password to get to them. I like and use an app now named Keep Safe.

File Manager is free and has a setting that allows you to see hidden files.
