AT&T Galaxy S3 - How can I chane from 2 login security screens to jusr the pattern screen on S3?

After chang to a new theme a new theme, a new security screen appeared - a 'slide the little disc' that I'd like to remove, and keep jusr the pattern screen. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
