want to do more with my s3!

Alright I love my galaxy s3 and all but I want to do more with it. Use it to its full potential. I am by no means a noob with phones. I know just about everything there is except for rooting. I just want to see if somebody has an idea I haven't come up with yet. I just want to know more things I can do with it. I can't use it as a remote because I don't have the right TV.

Once rooted you can install custom recovery, flash custom ROMs, use Xposed, remove bloatware, freeze apps, backup entire phone, change CPU settings, change boot animation, etc.

I really want to root but since I'm running 4.3, I haven't seen a 100% for sure root for it. I've always been skeptical about rooting but I want to try

Cf auto root using Odin is supposed to work for rooting s3 running 4.3
