s3 hard reset and now can't reload apps

When I go to the playstore, all of my apps are greyed out that have been downloaded to my phone and it won't let me redownload them but they aren't on my phone.

Suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! Were a lot of those apps "moved to SD"? If so, I'd remove all of that data from your SD card, or try inserting a different blank SD card, since it might be confusing Google Play. Then reboot the phone and try again.

Don't have an sd. I just went to the playstore via the phone and clicked on my apps then all and everything showed up. Took and hour to get it all loaded back on. Perhaps I should get a micro sd. Thankfully, all of my photos were backed up to dropbox.
