I have an inspire I purchased on craigslist.
I cannot Sync with my computer, or run as a disc drive to transfer files manually.
When I run sync, it detects the device, I go to sync music and it says: "Fail to mount/unmount device storage card"
If I go to settings I see the SD card is there, mounted. I unmount card, erase all data on it, remount it, and click "sync" from phone, same result.
Mount as disc drive, I double click on drive H (sd card), and it says "The disc in drive H is not formatted. Would you like to format now?" I click yes. Go to quick format, then I get "windows was unable to complete the format" Normal format had same result.
Originally I bought a 16gig from wal mart, did all of the above, then exchanged it for another, same result. My friend traded me his samsung 16 gig, when I put it in my phone it read all of his data and I could save pics or videos to it, but I did the same thing as I did with the other cards, and now it sits erased (via phone).
