Can anyone recommend the best replacement battery, perhaps an extended life replacement battery for the Inspire 4G? I have seen different posts with different recommendations so I figured I would just ask for anyone who has an Inspire, Desire HD what is recommended. Even with battery saver apps, and keeping my background apps to a minimum and having all service off that are not needed, the stock battery no longer lasts more then 1 hour off charge. I have a feeling that the current battery is just plain a POS. So hopefully you guys will have the best ideas on a replacement.

What do you guys think of Hyperion HTC Inspire 4G 2x Battery + Travel Charger (Also Compatable with Surround, and Desire HD)

    Thanks!

Thanks bro, Thats what I just bought, the other had smaller mAh value, and since you are having no physical size issues with your inspire then I like it!!!

You are using this for an Inspire right?

I am also using the Anker battery. It is giving noticibly more time than the stock battery did. It will take 4 to 5 full charge cycles before you get the max out of it.

Ok guys, Now I have a new problem question... So I went ahead and bought the battery pack/charger but the question is the new batteries are supposed to higher capacity but don't seem to be lasting any longer then the original stock battery which brings me to a new question. What do you guys suggest as a good app to help identify whats hogging all my battery life? Are there apps that basically watch your android and see patterns as to whats using the most amount of battery power, whether it be a particular app or a service like WIFI or some thing like that? Something to analyze the system as a whole? Thanks guys!

How long have you been using the new battery? It's going to take 4 or 5 full drain and charge cycles to get the full capacity of the battery.

Good tip, you just reminded me of that, thanks Pazz! I recall someone mentioning that once before. So far they are on about 3 rounds each... So I will let this go another few rounds and see what they do then, but lets be pessimistic for a moment and say I go 5 full cycles, then what would yall suggest?

Do you use Juice Defender? It helps, especially if you set it up to be as aggressive as you're comfortable with. And as far as tools go, Elixer has a lot of useful stuff you can use to see what your phone is doing.

I work late nights. My phone only used to make it until 7 or 8 pm until I needed to give it a little charge. With the new battery, I usually still have at least 20% (except for really heavy usage days) when I get home at 11pm.

Cool Pazz, I'll definitely check those out any way, I don't have Juice Defender, I was trying Battery Dr, but I actually think that app may be part of the problem as I think back my battery got worse after putting that in, and then I forgot I had it and never thought to remove it. I will try these out regardless of what happens after I finish the battery cycles. Thanks for the help, great info bud. +Happy, +Like +Thanks!

Yeah, I've been using Elixer since last Feb. I think I did see that Elixer 2 app. I may have to give it a look-see.
