Switching back to old phone?

I have had my Inspire 4g since the day it was released and just now I am debating on going back to my old iphone 3gs. I still use it every day as an "ipod touch" if you will and noticed that the speed of the 3gs with the new apple os5.1.1 over wifi is just as fast as my Inspire. I have had my Inspire rooted and tried several different roms but they all had bugs that annoyed me and after a few months i ended up unrooting it to return it to normal.

I am curious if anyone has stopped using their Inspire and switched back to an old iphone or any other phone for that matter. Or knows anyone who has and how they feel after switching. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just got my inspire. I will activate it today. Not sure if I will ever go back to my old phone. I have had good luck with my optimus v but the VM network is pretty slim on coverage. Hoping for improvement on ATT
