standard clock/weather homescreen shows wrong city

My phone used to synch and show the name and weather for my current location. However, it quit doing that and still shows a city I visited three months ago. I have been at home and in several other cities since. The Location settings for the phone have "Use Wireless Networks" and "Phone finder" checked. Shouldn't that have syched it? I have made calls in each location since the synching stopped working. I tried to check ""Use GPS satellites" instead of "Use wireless networks" but I can't get that check mark to come on.

Folks, I suspect this is a dumb question. I'll bet the fix is easy, but it is not obvious to me. Can someone please help? I've serched the forum, I've searched the Internet. The Maps app knows exactly where I am. I'd really appreciate if someone would clue me in.
