I can't get my HTC to transfer my pictures from gallery to my Del laptop. In the past I have added phone and used it for transferring before but wont recognize my phone this time. Help

Welcome to Android Central! When you plug your phone into the laptop, does anything register? Do you hear a connection tone from the computer? If not, what happens if you reboot the computer?

If all else fails, try a wireless file transfer app like AirDroid or Wifi File Explorer.
