    My phone has trouble connecting to the network due to my phone not being able to get AT&T's info off of my SIM, including my mobile number - which prevents me from using my MicroCell. Is there anything I can do short of having AT&T activate a new SIM card for me?

    If that's my only option, will that cost me any extra cash?

    That's probably your best option, especially if you're having network troubles relating to the sim. It shouldn't cost you anything. I've had several sim cards replaced for one reason or another on different lines on my account. Hasn't cost me anything yet.
