LOL you do realize that it said P505 not P506? Your rom is on the way though
Yeah and Arjen said it might work for thrive to. With stuff like this its better to have more than just one person's feedback. I posted my results to let arjen know what happens on the thrive. And as far as I can tell I got just as far as you in the install process with identical results, so it may save him work with me testing same build on thrive.

Oathkeeper, I am also getting the malware error, however google says it has not detected any malware in the last 90 days so I don't know... It's probably that someone uploaded superoneclick or gingerbreak.

I knew it had something to do with a different screen driver or config. I used beyond compare with a p500 source and a p505 source and sifted through soooooo many binary compares. I noticed that p505 had references to novatek/nova screen and the p500 did not. Thanks arjen and can't wait!

I am in the same boat with the mailware errors. Here I was thinking I had a form of spyware on my mac

Also got the malware error, after reading on the why Google says that because it's a forum it could be there is malware and because of that they show these errors once in a while.
The domain-owner can ask for a review of the site so the error does not show again.

Building a kernel without OC, just the original defconfig, when ready I will upload the zip-file so you can flash it after flashing the rom. If all works I will add OC again and integrate it in the Rom also.

I can say this, On the Thrive, the p505icskernal.zip gives me an abort error when attempting to install.

And I believe it's just a compilation error. It has the folder "p505icskernal" inside the zip, and I believe it should only contain it's contents

soundemonchan, It won't work, It's compiled wrong. Simple Mistake.

@Arjen, Idk if this is me being stupid or if it'll save time. I unzipped that file, and rezipped it with the folders in the correct place and tried installing it and it told me expects 4 args, got 3 then aborted.

Downloading. I'll report back in a sec.

EDIT: Kernel unzips fine, booting with normal colors, it's been going for less than a minute. I'll give it more time.
EDIT:Hangs on boot after 8 minutes. D: but then again I'm on the new baseband so someone else should try.
