Have the G2x and am trying to get it to play the movies I have stored on my pc. I can connect to my system via wifi, it recognizes the nero home 4 I'm running as a media server, and can even scroll through all my different files and folders. But when I select a file to watch it says "media player is not responding".
I have tried to play AVI, MP4, MKV, MOV you name it. Nothing plays.
These are files that I know to work. I have an LG Smart TV that connects to the same server and plays all files with no issues.
The phone has played all my music files with no issues.
I need to know if I need to download a codec pack or something to get these files to play.
I have tried to put them on a sd card and play them with the stock player and MOBO also but some files still dont play.
So I guess its technically two issues.
Please any help would be appreciated. The phone is still in its return period so I just need to know if its operator error or not.
