will an unlocked t-mobile note 2 work in asia

good morning masters. i just want to ask if my note 2, which i purchased from t-mobile and had it unlocked, will work in asia, particularly the philippines? i checked the samsung website and found out that t-mobile is using 1700Mhz band 4 and at&t is using 700MHz band 17 & 29, 1700MHz band 4 and 2300MHz band 30. in the philippines, the carriers there are using 850MHz band 5, 1800MHz band 3 and 2100MHz band 1. will my note 2 work with there? i tried inserting an old sim card that i use in the philippines into my t-mobile note 2 and it showed "roaming."
