Any major difference in firmware on kies?

Currently running stock firmware T959VUKB5 saw that T959VUKD1 was available via kies. Worth the upgrade? Seems like not many here use this device (not a lot of activity in this forum). Would like to figure out how to get 2.3.3. Any expert info would really be appreciated.

Well I'm running bionix black ice which is a version of kd1 and I love it haven't tried gingerbread yet but there is a leaked version out check it out.
