native Gmail calendar sync

My wife and I both updated to the latest software 4.1.2. Ever since the update, her gmail calendar will not sync with her phone.

Any thoughts?

I've reset her phone to factory defaults, re-added her gmail account. It still does not add her calendar, in the native calendar app.

Try syncing it manually for a little bit and sync should start working properly (I've had this problem with Gmail after updating to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 official). If the problem persists, the update may have been incorrectly applied, leaving a few system components missing. Sync on TouchWiz tends to act a little quirky after a major OS update, though I've yet to see this problem occur in AOSP-based custom ROMs.
