Current os and kies

Hi I'm new to tmobile ( had verizon for like 14 years) in was wondering do they do over the air software updates? And what's the current firmware on the galaxy s3

The GS3 is still on ICS for now, but JB is in the works. The update will be a manual one from what I have heard.

To check for updates, download and install Kies from Samsung. Run it, then connect your phone to your computer. Kies will check to see if there are any updates and, if there are, will give you directions from there.

You have to be patient with Kies, it has huge problems with connecting and recgonizing phones. I have to conncect and disconnect my S3 several times before it will identify it.
