Phantom Stain on Glass

I didn't know what to call this besides a phantom stain on the face of my phone. Its at the very top left that looks like smudge. I can wipe down the glass and it goes away. After normal use or by the end of the day, the same exact smudge/shape comes back up in the top left. Does anyone have any recommendations to get rid of this stain from coming back? I already used the water/cloth method and finger/spit method, lol. Its not big enough to where it obstructs viewing but with my personality, I like it to look spotless.

Hi and welcome to the forums. It sounds to me like you might have a defect in the glass, but it's odd you can get it to go away (does it only go away with moisture? Maybe it's filling in the defect, then when it evaporates, it comes back).

Just a thought. Is it under warranty? If so, I'd exchange it.

It goes away with just using a cloth as well. So whether its moisture or not, it keeps coming back.
