Calendar Reminder -> Dismiss = still shows calendar item

A calendar reminder on the lock screen with two options (Snooze and Dismiss) to be able to drag into the unlock ring. If you drag snooze, it snoozes... but if you drag the Dismiss button to the unlock screen, it the opens the calendar item. This is not what I would call 'Dismiss'.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I just want to make sure it is not just me and to see if anyone has a workaround.

Yes! I have this problem and it is really annoying. I sync my work outlook calendar, facebook and google calendar to my HTC Sensation and so have quite a few appointments.

When the phone is locked and an appointment occurs, the "dismiss" option takes you to the pattern unlock screen. I enter my pattern and then the calendar appointment is shown in the native calendar app. This is the annoyance - it should have dismissed it.

Anyone know where to "raise this" with android support?

Is there a way to get the lockscreen dismiss to actually dismiss?

Totally agree. Even swiping the reminder from the top status bar fails to respect the "dismiss" command.
This is definitely not intuitive behaviour.
