Contact caller ID missing

My sms messages and phone calls are no longer lnked to my contacts. When I make a call or receive a text the name no longer appears, only the phone number. The contacts and pics show when I look at the phonebook/contact list but something is wrong.

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble on this front. Are your contacts synced with Google or some other mail service? You may be experiencing a syncing issue. Or are your contacts stored on your SIM card?

Do you have "Fixed dialing" enabled by any chance?
