Rooted Sensation XE and ICS

I have a rooted Sensation XE and am using a stock ROM with it, though Sense has been disabled.

I tried Flashing custom ROMs in it but always got Wi Fi errors.

Anyway, if I accept OTA updates fir the new ICS coming later this month, will it install okay even though I am rooted.?

I asked at XDA developers but got such a complex answer involving HBOOT and who knows what else that I wasn't really any further forward.

Subscribed for the same answer. I have the reg sensation model and rooted with clockwork recovery. Everything I read said we should still get the update as long as we are still running the stock rom.

Then again, everything also said "so what" paraphrasing. More than likely a stable functioning ICS will be available before we get it official from the carrier. I absolutely, positively need wifi calling, only reason I am with TMO.
