The Samsung Galaxy S has a Gorilla Glass.
Is this also true with the Nexus S?

Probably. Maybe they don't make a big thing about it since many devices come with it now. But I did read somewhere that it was smudge proof though how much who knows?

@ Jon, i think you're referring to the Oleophobic coating. Yepp, that's a PLUS. The iPhone4 have this too.

this is a new word to me: OLEOPHOBIC - lacking affinity for oils

So far I didn't find any confirmation that the Nexus S has the Gorilla Glass.
    I really hope it does.

Okay so I've read it is NOT Gorilla Glass, so anyone know is it scratch proof, shatter proof?

Another disappointment with it lacking GG IMO.

I don't think any phone touchscreen is scratch or shatter proof. I think that the gorilla glass is stronger, but still not indestructible.

I see so many people disappointed with EVERY missing feature in this phone.. Am I the only person who is happy with it?
