How to pull the back cover off?

I know this is a dumb question but I can't take the back cover of this phone off. I saw a video and they make it look easy. Every time I put my finger in the slot I feel like I am about to break it and i am too scared to even try it like that. I don't have a Best Buy anywhere near me (the closest one is about 2.5hours). Sorry for this weird question.

i dont have the Nexus but if its like the galaxy s , just slip it under and run your finger around the slit of the casing, it just comes off

Lol! Ikr! I pulled it off and it didn't break! YA! I had no good reason to pull the back cover off I just wanted to. I pulled it off and then put it back on.

If you haven't noticed I am quite smart. LOL jk
