"Trackpad" navigation on Nexus S

As the Nexus S has no trackpad/trackball can you "mouse over" internet content?

For example if you go to Google (non-mobile version) if use my trackpad on my G2 to "hover over" the pics in the Google Sketch I see a larger version.

Is there a way to hover over images without a trackpad?

I know you can long press the image and a dialog to save the link appears. If you cancel to save the link, the image has appeared like you hovered over it - but it takes numerous clicks.

Maybe with a Bluetooth piece of hardware, it might be possible.
