Thanks for the Great review! I agree that the Nexus S now offers users a near iPhone experience. However, I'll qualify that solely in terms of 1. A more unified design aesthetic and 2. A much, much better touch screen/multitouch experience. Coming from a nexus one and prior to that a G1, Android's touch screens have always lagged behind that of the iphone's.

The one glaring omission I feel that Android needs to pick up on is hardware acceleration. Right now, Android's engineers have staked their claim that the CPU on its own is capable enough to handle all that and they are right to the extent that 1Ghz cpus and mobile processors have become powerful enough to handle a lot of these functions. However, I have on rare occasions explained slight lags in response when the CPU is tied up processing other applications. Therefore, I still think there is a good case for hardware acceleration in Android.
