anyone know what's taking google so long to push out the stock images?

Nope. And neither does anyone else. But the nexus s just got 2.3.2, and pretty quickly too. So not sure or your question?

Are you referring to the Nexus One? Well, it will get the update when it's ready. Even though the nexus line is "stock" android, it not exactly just a compiled version of what's on AOSP. Don't believe me? Just look at the app list. The base Android doesn't have that neat little "cube" effect.

Or are you referring to the source code? That's been out for awhile now.
