I was just wondering if there was still anyone stuck with 2.3.2 (I updated manually like a month ago got so impatient) and hasn't gotten the OTA yet. If you have 2.3.2 is there a problem you know of.

Still 2.3.2. I was getting impatient, now it's just sort of a game. No issues with phone as-is, which is why I'm patiently waiting....[sarcasm] I can't believe Google's started favoring the N1 over the NS! I have the newer phone gosh darn it! [/sarcasm]

I updated manually yesterday after getting impatient. Can't say I love what it did to my screen, but I'm hoping I'll get used to it.

still on 2.3.2. I had to manually update to 2.3.2 just last week. I am holding off on 2.3.3 - first, as stated, just to see how long it takes :p. second, because I dont want the yellow screen until theres a decent enough reason to update it (ie features that are more worth while).

That's the other thing I've been noticing on the Interwebs; the NS seems to stop updating at 2.3.1. I wish there were a way to find out why the updates seem to have stopped, or at least why they have slowed so much.

BTW, my wife's NS also has not updated...

I guess the only thing that is nagging at me is why it seems the updates for 2.3.2 and 2.3.3 aren't being pushed anymore?

If there was only a way to confirm - yes/no - if Google has suspended the updates....All I've found is people asking the same question, and others swearing Google is evil and has abandoned us, lol.

Day 60 something. Still no OTA notification on either of my NS's. Guess I'll wait for 2.3.4/2.4, lol

I think I'm convinced that the 2.3.2/2.3.3 has been suspended. So, since I'm not having any issue with 2.3.2, guess I'll just skip this one.

Still just curious how long it will take. Seems like this update had a limited OTA, I think most folks updated manually. I may breakdown and do it one of these days :)

My Nexus S is set to arrive tomorrow from FedEx, I'm curious to see what they're shipping with now. If it's still on 2.3.2, would I be better off not updating? I don't like the "after" shots of the screen compared to the 2.3.2 models.

I got mine March 30 and it came with 2.3.1.

Now as far as 2.3.3 goes, you aren't missing a lot. 2.3.3 broke GPS for me. My GPS had no problems locking at 2.3.1, now it takes forever if it ever locks at all (outdoors, clear skies and no obstructions).

A lot of complaints about this are at Google's forums.

Let us know; I'm curious too.

I'd bet it comes with either 2.3 and updates straight away to 2.3.1, or it already has 2.3.1. Either way, I don't think you'll see it get the OTA update past 2.3.1. If you can find the 2.3.2 update, I'd recommend at least that version as I believe it fixes some of the SMS bugs. The 2.3.3 update is only a minor tweak. If you find that your phone is one of those that suffer from random reboots, then 2.3.3 would be recommended.

[If your Nexus S was in for repair or it's the new one with the AT&T/Rogers/Bell compatible 3G radio, it probably will come with 2.3.3]

I just manually updated to 2.3.3 because I was having some other issues. I think its pretty safe to say that they have suspended OTA updates.

Just received mine and it came with 2.3.1. I'm trying to get everything sorted out with my new T-Mobile account, as it shipped without my data enabled. (?)

Mine was the same way; and I actually had the account activated at a T-Mobile store. The website was even showing that I had the unlimited data. But a quick call to their support number got it going. There was something not added to the account. Can't recall what it was but it wasn't an extra charge or anything.
