I have a usb socket 110v charger that works fine on my Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0. I plugged the data cord that came with my Exhibit II into that charger and then into the Exhibit II and the phone would not charge. I tried another charge/sync cord that works on the Galaxy Player and this also would not charge the Exhibit. Then I tried plugging into a 12 volt Griffin USB port car charger, and the Exhibit II would not charge. The Exhibit II charges fine with the 110 v charger it came with. It also charged with a borrowed third party car charger USB that listed the Exhibit II on the package. Why is the Exhibit II so particular about the charger? It seems to me that the problem would be in the charge/sync cable and not the charger itself. All chargers were 5 volts and at least 1 amp. All chargers that I tried work fine on the Galaxy Player. I need spare chargers for another vehicle and my office. Any ideas?
