Is it usual to be forced to go from .5 to 2.5 M of ram to avoid buffering in video? I have done that and no more buffering, thank goodness, BUT is this the way it has to be at an extra $10 per month? Robert Keesecker.

RAM? As in memory? Or speed? Or data cap? I'm not sure what you did to 'avoid' buffering (or why you pay 10 bucks a month, unless it's increasing data cap or speed)

I'm not sure...I was told my buffering was caused by lack of ram - think speed was not a factor, but the increase in ram cost $10 monthly. That must be correct because the buffering has stopped - but since video is so commonly used, it seems strange that a standard Note has to be upgraded to deal with it. Bob Keesecker.

You can't be talking about RAM. You are reffering to your data cap. You were probably hitting 500Meg limit which severly reduces your speeds after that. By upgrading you get full speed up to 2.5Gig.

Thanks Sloan, that's what Ian at TMO said, and as I reported, the upgrade took care of the buffering, but is everyone going to have to upgrade to get full usage of their Note3's? Bob Keesecker.

Yes, I find the 500Meg limit is not nearly sufficient unless you will be on WiFi almost all the time.
