I have watched so many tutorials on you tube and I still cannot pair my Galaxy Note 3 to my 2009 Lexus es 350.
This is what I do:
1. Turned on the BT on my phone.
2. On my car screen, pressed phone - connect BT - I would see the phones that were previously paired with my car.

At this point since I could not delete the old phones, I would turn the car BT screen to "default".
Then my car screen would show my password that I have to enter on my phone.

At that point, I was stuck. I pressed "the scan" on my phone but nothing showed up. It did not lead me to where I could enter a password.

I am so frustrated. What have I done wrong????

BTW, I did pair another samsung Note 3 to my car before. Unfortunately, that phone had some slow responding buttons that I had to return it.

I would do some research on your Lexus. I would imagine it should be possible to delete the older phones that you don't need to have access to your car anymore. That would my first step. Clearing out the old devices may give you some success in adding your new Note 3
