Touch Home wiz

I am constantly getting prompts for easy wiz home or touch wiz home. I ALWAYS select always, and get the msg it will be default, but EVERYTIME I restart the phone, or press the home button I get prompted for that. It is getting really old and I need help fixing it. All the suggestions I've read on here don't work. I have tried every recommendation I have found........ please someone help!

Have you tried a different launcher like Nova?

Have you tried a cache clear in recovery?

Is there any other launcher installed? You can check that in settings, home.

In most launchers you can define an action for the home button. In Nova, for example, is under gestures & buttons. Maybe it's happening something like that, forcing that action every time you press home.

Yes I've cleared cache, still didn't fix the problem.
I have tried other launchers, no go with them.
And I've checked the button settings. They are normal, nothing wrong with them
