Google Wallet Tap to Pay

Will it ever work for the galaxy note 3 on Tmobile? I thought since google bought softcard they would activate tap to pay on the note 3.

There is supposed to be a major update after July, not sure when, to Google wallet. With the acquisition of softcard it should bring a fix. At least that is what I am hoping.
But with Googles history of not changing or fixing their own apps we may never see it.
