Help with voice mail

Okay guys I have the visual tmobile enabled. It works great for me but I have one issue, the stock voice mail (if that makes sense) alerts me first then right after I get the tmobile visual voice mail alerting me. It's very annoying and I have tried looking everywhere in settings to try and silent the stock alert or just turn it off completely. I just need and want the visual one. Any help please?

Have you tried going in to your voicemail sound section and setting it to silent?
