Samsung Galaxy S4 Screen or software issue

Hello, there have been a few occasions where when I unlock my phone half of the screen turns into hundreds of colored and black vertical lines like if the screen were broken or something. It lasts about 2 seconds and it recently just started acting up. Once it disappears after the 2 seconds, all works fine. Any ideas on what it could be? Thanks!!!
