My T-Mobile Vibrant Issues
I tried rooting and installing ICS my new Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant with the help of eddie1wes's video:
Root & Install Ice Cream Sandwich On The Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant No Computer Needed - YouTube
After I attempted the first few steps, my phone got into a boot-loop and was stuck in that fashion for over 20 mins. I put it into Recovery Mode and tried to restore to my old backup. Now my phone is in a state where i can't access the recovery mode and in a constant boot loop. I just want my phone to be working again :'(
Assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely, Paradox1080
Re: My T-Mobile Vibrant Issues
Take a look at the sticky thread in this forum. There will be a post about doing a Factory Restore using Odin. That will get your phone back to its original software state.
Re: My T-Mobile Vibrant Issues
Thank you for providing the information.
The problem is that the download link to Odin is from MegaUpload which was recently taken down.
So I'm not entire sure where else to get Odin.

Re: My T-Mobile Vibrant Issues
Thanks for the quick response.
So there's multiple links to Odin on the second link you posted.
I'm not exactly sure which ones the right one for me, or does it not matter?:p
Re: My T-Mobile Vibrant Issues
In addition, there seemed to be .tar and other files along with Odin in the .zip folder within the first links posted on your first reply on this thread. I was wondering if those were unnecessary or not
Re: My T-Mobile Vibrant Issues
If you read the green information box in post 8 of the sticky thread, it tells you what files to use and what version of Odin to use. Read it over once completely before starting.
