T-mobile uploaded a lot of apps onto my precious Vibrant that I do not use, nor do i want them. Is there a way to remove all of that stuff? If so, how much room in my phone would that free up?
i don't know how much room it would free up but there is a way to remove them, well multiple different ways.
the easiest way i would have to say is by rooting your device, and then using the app "root explorer" to manually delete the APKs.
if rooting isn't your thing then im not sure what can be done. although i strongly advice you not to root your device unless you understand what it can do and how to unroot if you need to. rooting your device will void your warranty but it should be able to be reversed. the key word is "should". it might not be able to be reversed and may brick your phone if done incorrectly.
Root, then Root Explorer FTW.
If you're feeling a little on edge about rooting your phone and are not sure if you'll do all the procedures correctly, then give Easy Root a shot:Easy Root is back! - Unstable Apps
Rooted ,got root explorer, now once I'm in it's all Chinese. I went to system folder then to amazonmp3.apk (want to delete this bad boy) hard pressed and chose delete, says "unable to, read only file"
