Anybody wish the Vibrant came with Android 2.1 or 2.2 vanilla out the box, I sure know I do. Besides the GPS issues I absolutely love this phone, just wish it didnt have the Touchwiz and bloatware crap loaded on it...

Did you consider the Nexus One before buying the Vibrant? The Android on that phone is pure as the driven snow. But if you like the Vibrant more, all it takes is root access and a ROM or some uninstalling to remove most of the carrier extras.

Yea i did consider the nexus but since google stopped supporting it i figured id go with something else. I'm pretty good tho with the Launcher Pro Plus on it, so no complaints just wished alot more phones came with that vanilla android option without us having to root.

Dual core speeds :), I can only imagine what that would do to the battery :(, any technical details on the battery? a new kind maybe? Sure needs to be way more than 1500 mAh.

Dual core is an advantage for battery life. Both cores will not be running all the time - one will be the main, and the second will kick in when more power is needed.
