T-mobile throttling is so confusing!

So, I just got a new Tiered plan for $59.99 a month for 200 mb of "High Speed Data" and unlimited throttled data after that.

My understand is after the 200 mb of 4G, they send you down to edge for the rest of the contract

My confusion starts here: What about 3G!? Does that ever enter my contract? or does anyone even use it anymore?

After your 200mb of 4g use is done (if 4g is available in your area) Then for the remainder of the month T Mob throttles down your speed to EDGE or 2G as it's called until the end of your billing cycle. If 4G is not available in your area than you get 200mb of 3G then it's throttled down to EDGE until the end of your billing cycle.
