There's a standard disclaimer at the bottom of TMO's monthly 4G page, but I wondered if anyone can confirm. Does anyone know if TMO adds taxes and other fees on top of $30 Unlimited Monthly 4G plan making the total out-of-pocket $38ish/month?

I use the auto pay option on TMO's website, and for the past 2 months (the only 2 months I've had TMO's Monthly4G plan) it costed $32.03 for the $30 plan, so the tax for me was $2.03, at least in my state. It might differ like a few cents or dollars depending on where you live.

The only taxes on prepaid plans would be sales tax. If you live in a state that doesn't have sales tax then all you'd be payinf every 30 days is $30.

Don't know about T-Mobile but my parents have Virgin Mobile and all they pay in Virginia is sales Tax and the e-911 fee per month in addition to their plans.

Every state will be different. You might have a little sales tax, a 911 fee, or both. In Colorado there is just a 911 fee. Call your local store and ask them, they should have the exact amount for you.

NO tax in Nevada but in IL I bought one $30 card and they charged me $3 in taxes give or take. I just prepay 3-4 months in Nevada so that I don't get caught on the road and be forced to pay taxes.

I don't think TMO knows what they're doing. I was going to add money to my account on their website using a credit card but they wanted to charge more than 10% for tax. If I buy refill cards at the local Walmart, the sales tax is a lot less.
