T-mobile HTC One doesn't track Hotspot

So for some strange reason my tether isn't tracked by Tmobile. Just thought it was odd because my friends with Galaxy S4s had to root and modify the tethering app to not track. I just use the built in one and my buddy on AT&T at work tethers off me.. See usage below.

Not going to complain but just curious if others ran into this lol .

I can confirm on my HTC One the same thing your seeing. However i have only hooked mine up to my Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Note 2.
From what i can gather the data used by them is identical to the phone data, but if you tethered to a computer then you might get noticed..

I have an interesting issue that my phone is showing that I have been using hotspot data when I haven't all month.

How much use?
I can go a week or so with out using mine and ill show half a meg or 1 to 2 megs usage.. but since im allotted 500 megs i dont stress it.

250+ megs so far this cycle that has 10 days left...
I use TubeMate to download and save from YouTube. I wonder is that possibly acting like tethering...

I can verify that tmobile does indeed falsely log Tubemate video downloads(not viewing) as tether data. I've never used tethering on this phone and I received txt messages trying to up sale after using Tubemate to download videos. The last txt claimed that all of my 400mb allowance had been used, it terminated my current video download via Tubemate and now I can not download any video but I can view/stream them normally and everything else works fine within the app and out.
