As the title says plus which phones already have the required radios? I know my note 3 has a 700mhz but not sure which band. I hope my phone has it and it is in nyc so it can help me with signal issues in my house

Wonder when the next generation phones are coming out that support the 700 mhz spectrum and the refarmed 2G.

So wasteful that I have to buy new phones not to keep up with the latest hardware processors/memory etc. but just to keep up with the ever-changing network requirements.

A number of current tmobile phones currently support refarmed 2g already, though the network isn't up yet. As for 700 MHz, that should be in q4

Most recent phones should have the UMTS 1900 band. The Nexus 5 does. If there are others you're looking at, it wouldn't hurt to double check before buying.

Meh the refarmed 2G is useless for me because I never had their 2G service in my house back when i was with T-mobile when they were dead last bringing out 3G ( had a Sidekick LX and blackberry peral before i left them)

They could add or reconfigure towers. I used to get weak signal in my house, but Verizon added a new tower and my signal is much better

I still get no service. It is because the building walls are pretty thick. Also because if the higher frequencies t-mobile uses compared to AT&T and Verizon

It depends on the building configuration and tower location.

I connect to Verizon's aws network inside my office, which is 1700 /2100.

I know it's the frequency that's the issue with where I live

What signal are you getting outside the building

Don't have root access (never felt the need to)

Don't need root access to use the app. I don't have root myself.
